20 Questions about us, our likes, dislikes, favorite skin care products and routines.

1 - Ages?

🎭 J - I am 29 years old turning 30 March 11th.

✨ D - I am 26 years old turning 27 December 18th.

2 - Do you have any children?

🎭 J - I have 2 boys, Evan who is 12 and Landen who is 7.

✨ D -  I also have 2 boys, Dominic who is 5 and Keith who is 4.

3 - Pets?

🎭 J - I have a dog named Buster, and 2 cats named Keelo and Tucker!

✨ D - I also have a dog named Major, and 2 cats named Maize and Khloe! 

4 - Skin types?

🎭 J - my skin type is normal, but i have days where my face is very dry.

✨ D - I have combination skin, dry cheeks and oily t-zone. 

5 - Skin concerns?

🎭 J - Aging and wrinkles, dryness, tired under eye bags (sometimes dark circles) elasticity and occasional breakouts.

✨ D - Aging skin, fine lines, dark circles/under eye bags and oily T-zone. 

6 - How do you remove your makeup?

🎭 J - I first like to use a makeup remover wipe ( currently I have Simple sensitive skin experts cleansing wipes) to remove all product on my face other then my eyes, then i use 2 cotton pads and use the same Simple brand but this time the micellar water and hold it on my eyes for 10 seconds and rub off, it literally removes everything off my eyes even waterproof mascara!

✨ D - I use the same simple - micellar water as Jess for my eyes then use clean it - zero by Banila co. to dissolve the rest of my make up and i use a microfiber cloth to remove that.

7 - How do you cleanse your face?

🎭 J - I use a Grace & Stella 7 in 1 facial cleansing brush, I wet my face and apply First Aid Beauty skin rescue deep cleanser with red clay and begin to work it in with my brush, i rinse it all off with warm water and dab it dry with a soft towel.

✨ D - In the morning, I start off by wetting my face with warm water then work my Cosrx low PH good morning gel cleanser into a lather then rinse it off with warm water. At night I double cleanse first with my Olay gentle clean foaming face wash, then with the glow mud cleanser by Pixi and i wipe them both off with a damp microfiber cloth.

8 - What do you use to exfoliate?

🎭 J - I love Dr Brandt PoreDermabrasion Exfoliator, however it is on the more expensive side of products and i have found a dupe at a much more affordable cost which is the Biore Baking Soda Pore cleanser.

✨ D - I use the Body Shop Seaweed Pore removing cleanser about once a week to once every 2 weeks or as needed.

9 - Favorite toner?

🎭 J - I actually have 2 favorite toners at the moment, in the morning i love to use Pixi by Petra Glow Tonic and at night before a sheet mask I use Secret Key Milk brightening toner.

✨ D - Currently, Pixi by Petra - glow tonic for morning and night.

10 - Do you have any essences, ampoules, emolsions or serums?

🎭 J - I use Laneige essential balancing emulsion moisture, Laneige water bank essence followed by Thank you Farmer True Water Deep Serum. I do also have a serum that i use specifically for under my eyes as it is known as the "dark spot killer" which is Claire's cloud 9 Blanc de white serum.

✨ D - I have the Pixi by Petra - overnight glow serum, the Cosrx - snail 96 mucin power essence and the ordinary caffeine solution 5% + EGCG, for under the eyes. 

11 - What moisturizers do you use for morning and night?

🎭 J - Currently i use Garnier skin active moisture bomb in the morning, and Garnier skin active Ultra-lift miracle sleeping cream at night.

✨ D - At the moment i am using mizon - snail recovery gel cream, during the day and Olay - Age defying anti wrinkle night cream at night. 

12 - Favorite product for hydration?

🎭 J - I love to use a good hydrating sheet mask followed by Garnier skin active moisture bomb moisturizer.

✨ D - like Jess I like using any good moisturizing sheet mask, plus the cosrx snail 96 mucin power essence and/or Olay total effects 7-in-1 anti-aging daily face moisturizer

13 - Favorite sheet mask?

🎭 J - Karatica - Gold Duck's Egg GDII Foil Mask.

✨ D - My Scheming - 7 In 1 brightening essence black mask.

14 - What do you use for breakouts?

🎭 J - I have fallen in love with COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch, put a patch on the blemishes, go to sleep and in the morning you will see it has taken everything out of the blemish and has significantly reduce if not cleared the spot!

✨ D - I don't typically breakout other than the very odd PMS pimple, therefore i don't have a go to breakout product.

15 - What do you use to wash and condition your hair?

🎭 J - I am obsessed with Schwarzkopf Gliss ultimate repair shampoo and conditioner.

✨ D - Im constantly switching between brands depending on what my hair needs that day soo, in my shower I currently have; Mane 'N Tail shampoo and conditioner, Schwarzkopf - gliss ultimate repair shampoo and conditioner and the Maui moisture - bamboo fiber shampoo and conditioner

16 - What products do you style your hair with?

🎭 J - While my hair is towel dried i rub in Schwarzkopf Gliss express repair with liquid keratin leave in conditioner, when my hair is dry i use Black Caviar 12 in 1 multi-action hair cream and occasionally John Freida moisture barrier hairspray if i have frizz or curling my hair.

✨ D - I use a WET brush, It's a 10 miracle leave in spray as well as Tresemmé heat tamer spray.

17 - How do you like to style your hair?

🎭 J - Most days it is just up in a lazy messy bun, however my go to look is to straighten it.

✨ D - I prefer to have my hair straight, but same as Jess, it's almost always up in a messy bun.

18 - 1 Makeup product you can't live without?

🎭 J - Mascara! Definitely cant live without mascara, i am obsessed!

✨ D - I have 2 that I can't live without 🙊, mascara and concealer.

 19 - What is you everyday makeup look?

🎭 J - I start with Pür hydrating primer, followed by Clarins True Radiance foundation, a little blush, Maybelline chrome highlighter, some mascara and ending with NYX dewy finish setting spray.

✨ D - I start off with NYX shine killer primer, followed by NYX total control drop foundation, and hard candy glamoflauge concealer, then i blend it all out with my beauty blender, I follow that up with some CoverGirl clean matte pressed powder, followed by some NYX blush. Then I use the NYX contour palette for contour and highlight, then add some essence mascara and end with NYX matte finish spray.

20 - What is your favorite mascara?

🎭  J  - I absolutely love Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara however, it is on the expensive side and i have found a more affordable dupe which is L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise and it has the exact same effects!

✨ D - So far i have tried about 3-4 Essence mascara's and have really liked all of them, my favorite Essence mascara out of the 3-4 would be the False Lashes mascara Dramatic Volume Unlimited.
